The Charted Course (Our Plan)

First and foremost do not hold us to this plan for 2014\15! This is the plan right now but as all sailors know winds change, plans change, life changes. So to see where we are and how on or off course we are make sure you take a look at our Dead reckoning (position)

    1. Hello Brad
We are having a great time and I would suggest it to anyone. The people are so friendly and the weather has been awesome. We are not missing the snow that's for sure. Lol. We have a lot of work to do on the boat for the next few week. Keep an eye on the blog and I will try to keep it updated.

      Cheers
      Marc

  5. Mark & Linda, I've truly enjoyed meeting you, swapping stories, and sharing a few meals and drinks. I'm happy for you and a little envious that your journey is continuing and my little snapshot of the cruising life is being placed on the back burner until Les and I return after Thanksgiving and sail Asena to the somewhwere near Tampa.

Best of luck to you during your travels. You two appear to be enjoying your adventure as well as any dreamers could hope for.

I'll be checking your blog in the future, so I'll be able to live vicariously through your adventures. Hopefully our wakes will cross again in the future and we'll have more opportunities to share in the good life.

    Cheers,
    Bob Thackery

  6. Les & Marta are passing through Mobile, AL in route to St Petersburg, where they will resume the adventure of their first winter of living aboard and Gulf Coast sailing..
Rita and I are looking out the window at a foot of snow that buried Kansas City yesterday. It snowed all day long. We're actively planning to hitch the boat and trailer to the truck when the weather breaks and the roads clear enough that we are able to escape from this record breaking winter in the Midwest and begin experiencing how the sailors down south spend their winters.
I've spent a few hours checking out your splendid efforts producing this blog. WOW, great job.
I don't see many stories of Cuba. I trust that things are going well, though I suspect that your ability to communicate via the internet has been temporarily compromised.
We're all anxiously awaiting your future blog postings, as you know we're living vicariously through your adventure. These are great times.
    Cheers,
    Bob Thackery
